Sales u0026amp; Marketing Books

When I got my first sales job, I was given a quick ten minute speech by the sales manager and shown where my desk was.  That was the whole orientation and now I was expected to get to work.  I quickly realized if I wanted to make any money I needed to learn how to sell. I went to the local book store and bought 4 books on selling.  I finished them in two days.  What I learned from those books allowed me to have some success in that first job.  I have been learning ever since.  I currently have over 600 books in my sales and marketing library.  Thank goodness the kindle came along and now I can stop lugging around 3 or 4 business books on my trips.  My Kindle currently holds a couple hundred sales and marketing books (and a large number of  legal and detective fiction novels…my guilty pleasure).  I average about 6 books a month and my Amazon bill each month could be an economy car payment.  To me reading is an investment in myself and my business.  So I have put some of my favorites that I think would be beneficial to you and your business.  As I come across new books I will up date the list.  Click on Colin’s Kindle and see what I am currently reading.  If you have read a good book and I don’t have it here fill out form and I will check it out.  If we post it here I will give you an Amazon Gift Card as a thank you.  Happy Reading!
